Ingredients
- 500 g skinless, boneless salmon fillets
- 100 g butter
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) soy sauce
- sprig of fresh thyme
- salt & pepper to taste

Cut the salmon into cubes of 1.5 cm

Heat the olive oil in a cooking pan or wok

Once heated, add the butter and brown the salmon cubes for 3-5 minutes (depending on cooker/heat)

Add the soy sauce and chopped thyme leaves, carefully tossing the ingredients. Add a little salt & pepper. Note that soy sauce is also salty

Taste and add more seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately with a sprig of thyme as garnish
Comments
Great as an appetiser at an informal get together. Make sure you have a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay ready in the fridge!
