Salmon Ceviche Style

  • 20 g smoked salmon (optional)
  • 1 x red onion
  • 1 x fresh chilli pepper (deseeded)
  • fresh coriander leaves
  • ground black pepper
  • seasoning: fresh lime juice, olive oil, ground sea salt

    Finely chop the onion and dice the fish

    Flavour with black pepper, shredded chili and roughly chopped coriander leaves

    Add a tablespoon of olive oil and marinate in lime juice

  4. 4

    Leave in the fridge for at least a few hours

  5. 5

    Serve cool as an appetiser on thin crackers, or with a salad as a starter


The key ingredients of this dish - chili, lime and coriander - are a perfect match if you like it spicy, but fresh. Exact measurements are not critical! Combine according to your preferred taste with fresh fish and onion. You can even include other types of fish to accompany the salmon.
